In this collaboration with fellow Bay Area rapper Rappin' 4-Tay, “Only God Can Judge Me” sees 2Pac describe his state of mind in the aftermath of his shooting at Quad Studio in New York City.

Nov 12,  · Birth of “Only God Can Judge Me” According to Rappin’ 4-Tay, the story behind the recording of this song is that he did indeed send Tupac Shakur some gifts while the latter was incarcerated in New York, since the two of them were lifelong friends. Then after Pac was released, one day they unexpectedly ran into each other in Los Angeles.

Apr 01,  · The plain answer is no. This is actually a Tupac Shakur song. When people say this, they are saying you are a human and you have no right to judge me. Many people who don’t want to be held accountable for their deliberate sins use this excuse. Yes it is true the Lord will judge you, but God’s people will judge you as well.
